Gathering and analyzing community data is a key component of the work Ogden United Promise Neighborhood is doing. This data is used in conversation both with community organizations and community members to better understand the greatest needs in the community. In turn, we can collectively work to address them in a way that takes advantage of our community’s great assets.
Data is used to establish baseline measures on indicators that represent our core priorities. We look at trend lines, and discuss the “story behind the data” in concert with partner organization in order to create plans of action and set targets (or goals) that are achievable for the community over the course of several years. Our data scorecard is being updated, and will be re-posted here soon.
